NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the “THE FMS FORUM” will be held
on 25th July, 2020 through Video Conferencing (“VC”)/Other Audio Visual Means (“Zoom”) at
11:00 am to transact the following business:
- Welcome address of President.
- To approve audited accounts for the year ending 31st March 2020.
- To present the annual report for the financial year 2019-20.
- To appoint auditors for the period 2020-21 and fix their remuneration.
- To hold the election of Executive Committee consisting of maximum 12 members as per
Article IV of Memorandum of the Firm. - To hold the election for office of the Vice President.
- To hold the election for office of the Secretary.
- Any other business as decided by Executive Committee.

Panel Discussion : India’s Roadmap to Global Leadership : Challenges and Imperatives
To commemorate 60 Glorious Years of FMS, and to herald start of celebrations, THE FMS FORUM organized a panel discussion on the contemporary issue ‘’India’s Roadmap to Global Leadership: Challenges & Imperatives’ on 21st March, 2015 at Hotel Shangri-La Eros, Delhi. The discussion was steered by an eminent panel comprising of

- Mr Rajiv Memani, CEO & Managing Partner, Ernst &Young India
- Mr Banmali Agrawala, President & CEO,GE South Asia
The panel discussion was moderated by our Alumnus Mr Raghav Bahl, Founder & Managing Director, Quintillion Media Pvt. Ltd. The event was attended by over 130 participants comprising of Alumni, Faculty & Current Students.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Second Annual General Meeting of the THE FMS FORUM will be held on 30th April, 2016 at Mahogany Room, India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road at 1200 hrs to transact the following business:
- Welcome address by the President.
- To approve Audited Accounts for the year ending 31st March 2016.
- Presentation of the Annual Report of the Forum for the year 2015–2016 by the Secretary.
- To appoint Auditors for the period 2016– 2017 and fix their remuneration.
- To hold the election for the office of the Vice President.
- To hold the election for the office of the Secretary.
- To hold the election to the Executive Committee (Max 8 Members).
- Any other business as decided by the Executive Committee.

First Annual General Meeting

Minutes of the discussion
- The meeting started with the President’s address to the forum. The President recapped the objectives of the forum, and delved briefly on some of the achievements in the last 1 year. Hon’ble President also informed members of the next mega event at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on the 29th of August 2015.
- Theme : ’Make in India: A Trillion Dollar Question’
- Timing: 1900-2100 hrs
- The Hon’ble Finance Minister Mr Arun Jaitley has graciously agreed to deliver the Keynote Address
- Mr Amitabh Kant, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion is on the panel. The other panelists are being finalized.
- Audience: Current & retired members of teaching faculty, students, alumni (Approx 800-1000). Students will be charged a token amount of INR 1000, while Alumni will be charged a token sum of INR 1500. The event will be free for members.
- The President also informed the forum on the status of memberships. The FMS Forum currently has 33 members ( 27 Life Members & 6 Associate Members) . The President re-iterated the importance of growing our membership strength and urged the members to drive memberships from within their networks.
- Hon’ble President also put on record his gratitude to the Dean FMS, Prof ML Singla, for his constant support & guidance. He also thanked the Executive Committee for their support.
- The President’s address was followed by presentation of the Annual Report of the Forum by Secretary. The following points were highlighted in the report
- Two “INTRODUCTION TO FMS FORUM” events were organized in Delhi and Mumbai in September 2014 and October 2014 respectively to reach out to alumni and introduce the forum’s purpose and objectives, and drive memberships.
- To commemorate 60 Glorious Years of FMS, and to herald start of celebrations, THE FMS FORUM organized a panel discussion on the contemporary issue ‘’India’s Roadmap to Global Leadership: Challenges & Imperatives’ on 21st March, 2015 at Delhi.
- Year 2014 also saw the launch of forum’s website thefmsforum.com. The forum is looking to appoint an agency this year for website up-gradation, maintenance and to launch social media presence for the forum.
- On behalf of the forum, The secretary put on record gratitude to Dean Prof ML Singla, Senior EC Members, and Mr Annu Thapar, Chartered Accountant for their support.
- The Forum’s accounts were presented by Hon’ble Treasurer Mr. Kamal Oberoi and were unanimously adopted.
- The Hon’ble Treasurer also moved a resolution for appointment of AKAR & Associates as auditors for Year 2015-2016. The forum resolved that M/S Akar & Associates are duly appointed as the auditors of the forum for the period 2015-16 at a fee to be mutually decided by the office bearers of the forum
- The AGM closed with Patron, Dean Prof ML Singla’s address. Prof Singla congratulated the forum for making progress on its agenda and re-iterated the need for Senior Alumni, FMS, Faculty & Students to come together to drive brand FMS. He also guided the forum on some of the activities that must be planned in the near future viz. Support with placements, A CEO Roundtable event. Prof Singla closed his address with an account of some of the developments at FMS in the past 1 year.
